Light, shaped to the space it serves
A boutique and a boardroom need opposite things from light. These are the six environments we specify into most often.
Ambient, task and accent. Three layers, mixed differently for every environment — and the reason our schemes adapt instead of just switching on.
A single even layer of light is the default in most buildings and the reason so many of them feel flat after dark. We separate the layers so they can be controlled independently: ambient for orientation, task where work happens, accent where the eye should go.
The proportions change completely by sector. A retail floor runs high contrast and tight beams. An office runs low glare and broad uniformity. A restaurant runs almost entirely on accent after seven in the evening. Same method, very different result.
Seven in the evening, almost entirely accent
The same room at nine in the morning runs broad and even. One installation, two completely different scenes — which is a control decision, not a fitting decision.

View applicationWhat stays constant
Whatever the environment, the same non-negotiables apply to every scheme that leaves the studio.
Independent specification
We are not tied to one factory. The right luminaire for the brief is chosen from twelve partner houses, not from a single catalogue.
Calculated, not guessed
Every layout is modelled against manufacturer photometry, so the figures we issue are the figures the building delivers.
Built for this climate
Sixteen years of specifying into Gulf heat, humidity and salt air. We know which products survive here and which do not.
One team, end to end
The designer who drew the scheme attends the focusing session. Nothing is handed to a separate delivery team halfway through.
Supply that holds programme
Stocked ranges and established factory relationships keep procurement off the critical path.
Support that outlasts the warranty
We hold your schedule on file and remain the single point of contact years after handover.
