The brief
Painted bodywork reflects the ceiling perfectly, so a conventional downlight grid appears as a row of bright dots along every car.
Our approach
We replaced point sources over the display floor with broad, soft linear elements arranged to reflect as continuous highlights along each body line. Plinths are washed from concealed slots so wheels and sills are not lost in shadow.
The outcome
Cars read as sculptural objects rather than as reflective surfaces. The layout has been adopted as the dealer group's regional standard.
