Palm Jumeirah Penthouse
A glass-wrapped penthouse where the challenge was lighting an interior that is mostly window.
Floor-to-ceiling glazing on three sides meant that after dark the interior reflected in the windows and the view disappeared. The client wanted the skyline back.
Our approach
We pulled light off the glazing entirely — no downlights within two metres of the window line — and lit the room from the inside out using coves, low-level washing and table lamps. Reflected luminance was modelled before installation to confirm the view would stay legible.
The outcome
The terrace and skyline read clearly from every seating position after dark, which was the single thing the client cared about.

Most projects start with a plan and a conversation about how the space should feel. That is enough for us to be useful.
