Business Bay Tower Lobby
A double-height entrance lobby anchored by a bespoke twelve-metre suspended installation.
The developer wanted an arrival moment that would photograph well and still be serviceable by a building maintenance team without specialist access equipment.
Our approach
The feature was engineered around a motorised winch concealed in the ceiling void, so the entire installation lowers to floor level for cleaning. Stone walls are grazed from a continuous slot, and the reception desk is lit separately so staff faces are never in shadow.
The outcome
Maintenance takes two people and one morning. The lobby has since appeared in the developer's marketing across the portfolio.
